My boyfriend thought his shoulder pain was due to pulling some muscles. After a couple of months of it getting worse…he thought …oh my Lord…I bet I have a torn rotor-cuff. We only wish it was so…
He went from those thoughts to the doctors finding a tumor on shoulder..(no problem, odds are that it is benign)...to hearing lung cancer with metastisis to shoulder and large bones… and 12-18 months???

I started logging this “journey” from MY perspective. The thoughts, feeling and poetry from someone who loves someone…who has cancer.

Finally...some good news! June 10, 2008Views: 961

Woo-hoo!

Wes went back to his “brain doctor” to do another scan. According to Wes, his doctor is very stoic. I actually looked up the meaning which referred me to impassive which means expressionless – showing no outward sign of emotion, especially on the face.
devoid of all emotion “ feeling no emotions at all, either positive or negative

anyhow the doctor came in and said “You had 4 tumors in your brain correct? Wes said his heart was pounding and said yes. The doctor said 3 are completely gone, the other has shrunk significantly and there are no signs of any new ones forming. Wes told the doc that he was so happy he felt like jumping up and giving him a big old hug on the neck! Im sure the doctor replied something like I don’t think that is necessary.

Yep thank you Lord…finally some good news!

He has an appointment Friday with the surgeon about his gall bladder. Keep him in your prayers

Glad that you got awesome news! I know how that is, they can’t ever spit out the results quick enough.

Take care,

Great news!
Take care of each other!
